About Us
Chem Skill Development Centre (CSDC) is an initiative of Chemical Industries Association (CIA), Indian Chemical Council (ICC) and Manali Industries Association (MIA) a non profit trust. CSDC was established on Aug 21 and has been conducting programs on Industry Oriented Knowledge Building Program for 3rd and final year Chemical Engineering Students and has successfully conducted 16 such programs. Annamallai University, St Peters, Rajalakshmi Engineering, KEC and SRM College are some of the colleges who have opted for this program. Knowledge Management Program for Young Engineers was conducted in Chennai ,Ranipet and Cuddalore.
CSDC Objectives
- To Prepare the Gen Next for needs of the Industry
- Provide Practical Knowledge to Students build confidence and to make them competitive and employable
- Learn the Overview of Industry and best practices
- Understand the expectations from the industry
- Impart safe practices and Social obligations such as Process Safety and ESG
- Develop students to become world Class Engineers
- Enhance Skills and Knowledge to Operators and Engineers
- Apart from the theory classes, CSDC will coordinate and arrange In Plant training in a Chemical Industry for 10 days for those who have undergone the CSDC program: a key advantage for opting this course.
